Who it is for
People who must wear a tight-fitting respirator, including N95 respirators, for hazards such as infectious agents, dusts, mists, fibres, fumes and bioaerosols.
Respiratory fit testing
Anyone who must wear a tight-fitting respirator at work, including an N95, needs a fit test to confirm an effective seal. It is a legal requirement under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

The HeartSafe approach
Better. Hands Down.A Canadian mission built around practical response.
What guides the work
People who must wear a tight-fitting respirator, including N95 respirators, for hazards such as infectious agents, dusts, mists, fibres, fumes and bioaerosols.
The fit test follows the CSA standard for the selection, use and care of respirators. Technicians also cover donning and doffing, seal checks, and respirator care and maintenance.
Each person who passes gets a wallet card with the respirator and size they were fitted with. The employer receives a fit test report for its records.
How we work
Share how many people need a fit test and which respirators they wear.
We confirm the timing and location with you.
A technician tests the fit and reviews donning, doffing and seal checks.
Participants keep their wallet card. The employer keeps the fit test report.
Tell us about your people and the respirators they use, and we will confirm the details.
