Overview

This website is operated by HeartSafe EMS. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to HeartSafe EMS. By visiting our site and/or purchasing products or services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the site, including customers, browsers, and contributors of content.

Products

We provide physical products including AEDs, accessories, cabinets, batteries, pads, first aid supplies, and related safety equipment.

All product descriptions, availability, and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

Training & Services

Training courses, certifications, inspections, and other services are considered delivered once scheduled, accessed, or completed.

By purchasing training or services, you acknowledge that availability, scheduling, and participation requirements may apply. HeartSafe EMS is not responsible for outcomes resulting from improper use, failure to follow training guidance, or failure to maintain certification.

HeartTrak Software

HeartTrak is a digital compliance and readiness tracking service.

By purchasing or accessing HeartTrak, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Access is provided on a subscription or service basis

  • HeartTrak is considered delivered once access is granted

  • Data accuracy depends on information entered by users and/or provided by customers

  • HeartSafe EMS does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation

HeartTrak is a compliance support tool and does not replace proper training, inspections, emergency response procedures, or legal compliance responsibilities.

HeartTrak Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

HeartTrak is offered as a subscription-based digital service.

By purchasing a HeartTrak subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as presented at checkout (monthly or annual)

  • Billing will continue until the subscription is cancelled

  • Access to HeartTrak remains available through the end of the current billing period

Cancellation

HeartTrak subscriptions may be cancelled by contacting info@heartsafe.ca or through the account or billing method provided at the time of purchase, where available.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds or prorated refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.

Refunds

Subscription fees paid for HeartTrak are non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by law or explicitly agreed to in writing by HeartSafe EMS.

Changes to Subscription

HeartSafe EMS reserves the right to modify subscription pricing, features, or service availability. Any material changes will be communicated in advance where required.

Medical & Emergency Disclaimer

HeartSafe EMS products, training, and software are intended to support emergency preparedness and compliance.

They do not replace professional medical advice, emergency services, or clinical judgment. Always contact emergency services in the event of a medical emergency.

Billing & Payments

All prices are listed in the applicable currency and are subject to applicable taxes.

By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout.

Subscription services, including HeartTrak, may renew according to the terms presented at purchase.

Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, available on our website and linked at checkout.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, training materials, and software, is the property of HeartSafe EMS and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeartSafe EMS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products, services, training, or software.

Use of all products and services is at the customer’s own risk.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
